Health Canada requires services to ensure that radon measurement devices available in Canada are evaluated for their performance on an annual basis. This is to ensure that any new entrants to the marketplace are evaluated within a reasonable timeframe to ensure they meet minimum performance standards. As a result of this service the vendor will produce a series of publicly available consumer reports on commercially available electronic radon testing devices to ensure the findings of these tests are communicated with consumers.
