An air bath for standard resistors is a temperature-controlled enclosure that maintains precision resistance standards at a stable and uniform temperature. Since the resistance value of standard resistors is temperature dependent, tight temperature control is essential for accurate resistance measurements used in thermometry applications such as standard platinum resistance thermometer calibrations.
