Leicester City Council is looking at the recommissioning of our local High Dependency bed service of behalf of Leicestershire County Council and our LNR ICB. High Dependency Intermediate Care provides a short-term, intensive care and support bedded service in a non-clinical environment (i.e. nursing home) within the Leicester or Leicestershire area. This discharge pathway is for individuals with complex health and social care needs who require a higher level of support than traditional intermediate care services.
